The Greater Los Angeles Writers Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to mentoring writers of all levels in the craft and business of writing, and to providing continuing education with forums for the marketing of their work.

To fulfill its vision of "writers mentoring writers of all disciplines," GLAWS holds informative monthly meetings, often with nationally-known speakers, offers critique groups, advice in the craft and business of writing, conducts special events, writers seminars, and further promotes its vision through business and social opportunities.

GLAWS welcomes writers from all over California and the country, from aspiring students to best-selling authors, from industry professionals to simply anyone interested in learning more about the craft.
